G. Natesan & Co, Chartered Accountants is a reputed firm involved in active practice since 1949. It is led by a team of 15 experienced partners who are qualified members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

G. Natesan & Co is headquartered in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and has offices in Kochi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kumbakonam, Tiruchirapalli, Thanjavur, Salem and Ranipet. The firm is eligible to conduct statutory audits of Large PSUs and Scheduled Banks. The Governments of the day have chosen the firm as Statutory Auditors and Internal Auditors for major CAG audits reposing continued respect and appreciation of service by the firm and its Partners to the profession and industry.

The Path to Present

G.Natesan & Co was established in 1949 by G.NatesaIyer at Kumbakonam. J.Krishnaswami ( jaykay ) took over a part of his practice in 1962 and ran the firm as a Proprietorship till 1991, ably assisted by CA G.Kunjithapatham. In 1991 CAs Murali Krishnaswami & Varalakshmi Murali took over the practice along with G.Kunjithapatham. 2003 saw merger of R.Swaminathan & Co and firm got into assignments such as payroll processing, bill processing anchored by Ganesh Prakash. Mrs.Latha Ravi joined in 2004 with her expertise in insurance strengthened the Insurance Audit vertical.

The firm opened its first branch outside Tamil Nadu, at Kochi with KC. Seetharaman joining in 2008. Shri. Srinivasaraghavan, an expert in Insurance Industry joined the firm in 2010.
 
Shri. V.Margasahayam, an experienced Banker and Shri. J.Sivakumar merged their firm J.Sivakumar & Co.
 
The joining of Shri. S.V.Krishnamurthy (SVK) and Smt. Hemalatha K Murthy in 2017, a pioneer in Indian Outsourcing Industry and a popular expert in Banking/NBFC/Micro Finance/Credit Card processes and Systems further strengthened and widened the firm’s capabilities.
 
P.Parthiban merged his 3 decade practice in 2019 and started operating the firm’s branch at Salem. Ganesh Ramalingam with his vast experience in Internal Audits in Gulf countries joined in 2014 and is based in Kumbakonam. K.P.Ranganathan, R.Vijayaraghavan, Sajith Oommen P, young CAs anchor the firm’s statutory compliance wing. We are proud to inform that our Article assistant Ananta Kumar Behera now a Chartered Accountant has started the firm’s branch office in Odisha in 2019 thus spreading our wings beyond South India.
